Carn Euny: A Great Place To Visit Near To Your Cornish Cottage

Carn Euny is one of Cornwall’s most historic locations. This is a well preserved ancient village, which was last occupied by the Romans, but dates back to the Iron Age. There are the foundations of stone houses, plus the well documented underground passage known as a ‘fogou’.

The stone house remains are the most visibly relevant evidence of Carn Euny. It is believed that houses surrounded by a field system, that is prehistoric in design, and evidence of flint tools suggest that the site
